Evans EC Reverse Dot 14" Frosted Drumhead
Evans EC snare heads feature two plies of film. The combination of a 7mil top ply and a 10mil bottom provides a controlled sound but with resonance and sensitivity at all tuning and dynamic ranges. Sound Shaping Technology (SST) rings on the underside reduce unwanted frequencies and enhances attack. The 3mil Reverse Dot lends extra durability, focus and attack in the center.
Evans Level 360 technology extends the playing surface of the drumhead 360 degrees around the drum, incorporating a vertically enhanced collar design for even contact with the critical bearing edge of the drum shell. This guarantees ease of tuning, extended pitch range, and optimum sound quality. Additionally, Evans Level 360 technology resolves the long-standing issue of traditional synthetic heads not fitting the drum shell properly without excessive force.
