Here at the Music School Bendigo we pride ourselves on providing affordable, quality and individual tuition to suit all ages and abilities.
Our tutors tailor lessons to suit the individual journey and goals of each student.
If you are just starting out then the tutors will be able to guide you with specific exercises and songs that will have you making music in no time. If you are already on your learning journey, then our tutors will be able to help with your technique and/or understanding based around the genres that interest you the most.
We currently offer lessons on the following instruments:
Learning to play a musical instrument is one of the most rewarding things that a music lover can do. There is a lot of research out there to say that playing a musical instrument can positively impact a person’s academic, social, spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing.
We want to share our passion for music with as many people as possible. We hope that by providing fun, engaging, challenging, and interesting lessons, this passion will be passed on to our students who in turn will continue to brighten and enhance the musical scene in the region for years to come.
School Holiday Programs:
During the summer (January) and winter (July) school holidays, we run a Rock School Band Camp here at The Music School Bendigo. This program has very limited spaces, and is open to anyone from the age of 7 through to 17. The only prerequisite is that the person has a keen interest in music and playing or singing in a band.
The camp runs for three days from 10am – 2pm with a performance on the final day.
Please check back here and on our Facebook page for updates and the new camp schedule leading up to January and July each year.
We think that music should be something that is accessible for as many people as possible. Our prices are kept fair and reasonable to reflect this philosophy.
All prices are based on a 30-minute one on one lesson.
$25 per lesson when paid for in blocks of four or more in advance (i.e. $100 for four lessons)
$30 per lesson if you are playing for less than four at a time (to cover the extra admin costs)
We understand that things happen sometimes that result in you not being able to attend your weekly lesson. Therefore, when we are given a minimum of 24 hours notice of a cancellation, the lesson will roll over to the following week.
If your regular tutor is off, then we will endeavour to get another one of our tutors to cover the lesson. When this is not possible, you will be notified and the lesson will roll over to the following week.
