Help, Advice and Ongoing Support
If you don't already know what you want to play, you're in great shape—that means everything is a possibility!
Some of the instruments we see coming to us for repair or servicing that have been bought at department stores, supermarkets, and eBay are quite poor in quality and workmanship. Yes they are cheap, and that's what they are, cheap instruments which in many ways may do as much to turn you off playing than assist you to learn.
The beauty about buying a Starter Instrument from us or any music shop for that matter is the advice you get and the ongoing support. You can try having a conversation about replacing the strings or adjusting the neck with your friendly checkout operator from your local supermarket but I'm not sure how much assistance you will receive.

Studies have shown that music can help make a child smarter, develop giftedness, become more mature, and more confident. If they're not yet out of elementary school, a good musical background will help them to succeed in middle and high school bands, setting an example for all of their peers.
Learning to play an instrument is one of the coolest things you'll ever do. Whether you're just starting out in school, decided you wanted to play in a band, or have decided to learn to play music now that the kids have grown, it's a fun and rewarding thing to do.
